I was looking for a new rice recipe to try and came across one from Veganomicon called Messy Rice. It called for white rice but I had brown so I decided to substitute with that. It came together very quickly. Most of the time was spent cooking it.

I would make this again. It was so delicious and hearty. Great as a snack. What's your favorite rice recipe?
Off to grab my copy of V-Con to see what's in this... I love rice dishes. My favorite would be my own risotto made with either fresh corn or asparagus.
ReplyDeleteLooks tasty! I'll have to give it a try. Veganomicon is my favorite cookbook, but I haven't tried nearly all the recipes contained within its pages.

I never really do anything interesting with rice, but I am officially inspired!
