This recipe called for 3 ears of corn which were lightly caramelized with some sugar. Once all of the ingredients were combined the mixture needs to chill for about 3 hours. I'm glad I read this in advanced otherwise I would have been sadly waiting for the ice cream.
I've been noticing with some of the ice creams I've made that they get a little icy after a day in the freezer. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this as well? I hear that mimic creme is a good substitute and doesn't seem to have this issue.
