Vegan MoFo: Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving.  This was my first one celebrating as a Vegan and it was amazing.  My friends and I went to Native Foods to celebrate and it was out of this world.  I have eaten at Native Food many times but this meal was better than I expected.  The people there were wonderful, service was great and as we left I ran into another friend.  Talk about feeling like you are celebrating with friends and family.  I realize that I ended the day with a new tradition.  I will be going back next year.

Vegan MoFo: Native Foods

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be invited to a pre-opening at Native Foods new Culver City location.  The restaurant officially opens on November 15th but people were invited to join them as they fine tuned their training.  Full disclosure here is the meal was complimentary.

The new location looks fantastic.  It feels fun, warm and cozy.  The staff was nice, patient, and helpful.

Mmmm Thanksgiving at Native Foods

I went with a few friends and one of them had never been there.  We had a wonderful time and some delicious food.

My friend was happy the lettuce was on the bottom because she said "I ate all the good stuff off the top".

It was a great night with fantastic food and wonderful friends.  My friend who had never been there said she would go back.  Her comment was "The food taste so fresh I could see why people would like it".  I can't wait until Native Foods opens in Culver City.  I know I'll be going back.

New Native Foods

When I first became vegan a good frined of mine introduced me to Native Foods. This was my first time at an all vegan restaurant. I was in heaven. It was so good. My only moment of sadness was realizing how far away it was from my house and that the Westwood location was difficult because of parking.


I was happy to hear that they were going to open more locations. I hoped they were going to move to a location closer to me. The other day quarrygirl announced that M Cafe in Culver City would be closing and Native Foods was taking over. While I was sad about M Cafe closing I couldn't believe my luck.... not only did Native Foods open a new location but they moved closer to me.

I have just heard that the Native Foods in Culver City will be opening on Nov 15th. I can't wait and plan to be there with bells on!!
