Sinful Saturday: Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

After having so much success with my last few batches of ice cream I asked my co-workers what flavors they would like me to make.  One was Peanut Butter & Chocolate.  I LOVE this flavor.  Rich delicious chocolate with chunks of peanut butter mixed in.

Right before going into the freezer

I looked around for a chocolate base and put something together from a few recipes.  I didn't write everything down but will be tweaking this and post something up soon-ish.

This ice cream was so sinfully good!  As you can see in the picture above it did have the chunks of peanut butter in it that I wanted.  This recipe seemed to remain a "kind of" soft serve ice cream.

Blending away

I was a bit nervous since I felt it didn't set enough.  There was no need everyone really liked it.   In fact, a co-worker who doesn't often go back for more went back for seconds.

I'm really excited to tweak and perfect this recipe!  Looking forward to sharing it with all of you.
