Hello Blog. How I miss spending time with my other MoFo'ers and reading all the wonderful bloging going on right now. Work has gotten out of control. Long hours and crazy when I'm here. Very little time to cook :(. I also got a wonderful text from a friend that they are coming into town tonight and want to meet for dinner. I am so excited to see them but sad I won't be cooking tonight.
I never thought you could make vegan prosciutto but leave it to Jenn Shagrin to come up with a recipe. I had to try it.
I thinly sliced about 10oz of extra firm tofu to soak in this marinade. The marinade had cloves,fennel and mirin to name a few of the yummy items.

As you can see it turns a lovely color and gets a little crispy on the edges.
